Wine list

Restaurant Gastronomic Institute

When you visit Restaurant Gastronomic Institute at Knudhule Badehotel, you also have the opportunity to choose from our extensive wine list with a focus on Europe.

The wine cellar contains up to 400 different wines, of which approximately 300 are listed and ready for sale. The total number of bottles is approximately 7000 bottles.
The wine is stored in the restaurant's temperature-controlled cellar, which ensures storage under the best conditions, and in addition ensures optimal serving temperature for the selected wines.

Every month we choose at least 10 wines that we serve by the glass, and which are matched to the menu and season.
Our skilled waiters are happy to advise you on your choice of wine.

Since 2006, the wine cellar at Knudhule Badehotel and Restaurant Gastronomic Institute has been included in the Danish Dining Guide with the distinction II glass, which is given to the very wide selection of wines with vintage depth, as well as area versatility.

Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, match their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

To qualify for an award, a wine list must present complete, accurate information, including vintages and appellations for all selections. Full manufacturer names and correct spellings are mandatory, as is the overall presentation of the listing. Lists that meet these requirements are judged at one of our three awards.

At Knudhule we are proud to have received the award "Best of Award of Excellence" in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
