Safe bathing conditions
During the bathing season, a semi-circular bathing bridge is laid out, which creates the perfect setting for a good swimming trip for young and old. Inside the bridge, the shallow water and firm sandy bottom provide a perfect and safe environment for smaller children. Outside the bridge, swimmers can jump headfirst – or climb in from the ladders.
You can do more than bathe
In Knudsø you can also try your luck with a fishing rod or net - the fish go very close to the shore, and on the boards on the beach you can see what you have caught. You can also settle back and let the kids build sandcastles while you enjoy the view of the forests around Knudsø and Himmelbjergtårnet in the distance.
The Blue Flag
Since 1992, Knudhule beach has met the requirements for Blue Flag. This means that you get the perfect setting for a good bathing experience with high bathing water quality, life-saving equipment, toilets and good access to the beach. Note that the Blue Flag means that dogs are not allowed.
